There are 177 EH-Pioneer Chapter members for 2003. Membership dues have begun to arrive for 2004. Dues will remain at $20.00 per year.

A suggestion for this years membership gift was received from Rod LaBelle, who sent a sample of a pin. The membership present, upon viewing the pin, decided it would make an excellent gift. Chuck will investigate cost, etc.
Each of the offices up for election had only one candidate, so a motion was made, seconded, and passed to accept Phil Ward as Director, Val Schwandt as Secretary, and Chuck Barsness as Membership Chair.
Rally dates are set for July 7-11, 2004. These dates were decided on after a lengthy discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of holding the rally just prior to Sturgis. The main concern was that members attending Sturgis would need to leave the X-Rally on Friday or Saturday, the main days of the X-Rally. The main advantage to holding the rally just prior to Sturgis is the possible increased draw to the X-Rally from our Eastern attendees.
If a group ride is organized to go to Sturgis, John is open to run a chase vehicle. John will also check into using the Swift booth as a meeting stop.
Rally 2005 is the 100 year anniversary of Excelsior-Henderson motorcycles. Tim Briedenbach was appointed Rally '05 Chair. Contact Tim with ideas/suggestions for this event. Current suggestions include riding East to tie in with old bikes, or tie into the antique bike show in Farmington.
The membership present expressed concern with information availability.
Suggestions were made to spend more time and/or money on the website.
Things they would like to see posted on the website include meeting minutes,
meeting dates and locations, and membership info concerning dues and benefits.
Jan. 18, 2004 at the old Toohey's location in Burnsville (we don't know the
name, it's changed ownership). Details to be worked out by Buck. An email will
go out confirming this prior to the meeting.
