Membership Gift - It was decided to give a 5 ¾” winged patch for our 2008 membership gift. Mike Hamann designed the patch modeled after the Factory winged patch. In the middle of the wings will be the red “X” with “Excelsior-Henderson” above and “Riders Club” below. It was decided to order 150 of these patches. The larger patches were going to cost too much so they will not be ordered at this time.
Teri Peterson Party June 28th - Teri Peterson is having a party to celebrate a number of events including her 50th birthday and her moving to Arizona. She wants to invite all of the Super X owners. It’s happening on June 28th at the Crowne Plaza in Bloomington with a buffet at 7 PM and a band beginning at 8 PM. She is asking for a $35 donation to help defray the cost as well as an RSVP. HISTORICAL 1 & 2 CYLINDER CARS INVITE PARTICIPATION BY HISTORICAL MOTORCYCLES IN EXCELSIOR-HENDERSON OBSERVANCE
Organizers of the 25th Annual 1 & 2 Cylinder Car Tour are inviting participation by motorcycle historical enthusiasts in their tour June 21st. This tour is put on annually by owners of 1 and 2 cylinder, pre-1915 automobiles. The 3 day event will be headquartered at Emma Krumbies adjacent to the former E-H plant in Belle Plaine. It is hoped that 1 or more of the early twin motorcycles will join us for the Saturday June 21st portion of the event, where the day will start with ceremonies at the closed E-H plant around 8:00 A.M.
