Director Randy Schwandt brought the meeting to order after a great lunch!
Treasurer’s Report
- Phil Ward reported the club is in good financial condition. Expenses for
the Rally were up this year and attendance was a bit down. Expenses exceeded
income by about $400. The largest increase was the cost of the T-shirts.
Membership Report
- John reported that we currently have 114 members. Membership can be sent
to John Jones – 301 N Main St, Le Sueur MN 56058-4361 or go online to

Old Business
2008 Rally a Success
- NorthStar Power Sports – We had a great time as usual. Brian Berhow
provided demo rides on new Victories and also hors d’oeuvres at the Ramada
for Happy Hour. Brian said is looking forward to having us back again next
year.
- Ride to Le Sueur – We had a super ride. Phil Ward was able to lead us
around the thunder storms which we all appreciated.
- Motel – The Downtown Motel worked out great as the center of our
activities.
- Poker Run – Ken Bretz put together another of his great Poker Runs.
Congrats to Cindy Kaster who won the best poker hand. Finally a Super X
rider won the pot.

- Rally T-Shirts/Can Coolers/Decals – Mike Hamann did a great job with the
design of the T-shirts, can coolers and decals.
- Saturday Ride - Saturday morning Phil Ward lead a ride to the National
Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. The National Eagle Center has great information
on all species of eagles. Several had a picture taken with their bike and
the eagle. It was a great ride for most. As for me, my battery went dead
about half way to Wabasha and I had a ride back to Le Sueur in a tow truck
with my bike on the flatbed.
- A good time was had by all at the 9th Annual Super X Rally! Check out

2008 Sturgis
- A special thanks to Tracy Mosness, Mack Backlund, and Gregg Forsberg for
sponsoring the E-H Super X get-togethers this year at Sturgis. Everybody
that attended had a great time.
- If you haven’t seen Gregg Forsberg’s garage of E-H memorabilia at Beulah
WY, be sure to stop by some time and take a look.
New Business
2009 Rally – designated - X Rally X – Dates set for July 8-11, 2009
- Next year will 10 years for the
Super X and also the 10th Annual Super X Rally. We have already started
making plans for X Rally X. So, start making your plans to join us for 10
Years of Excelsior-Henderson.
- Rules for Awards at Rally - Next
year a committee will set up rules for what bikes qualify for each class in
the bike show. Also, it was decided that any awards given will be to Super X
owners only. The one exception is that any rider/passenger on any make of
bike can win the Poker Run.
Miscellaneous
Pioneer Chapter owned Super X Tools - Buck Bailey has the Pioneer Chapter
owned tools and they are available for use by any of our members. Just contact
