Pioneer Chapter Meeting Minutes

Director Randy Schwandt brought the meeting to order.
Treasurer’s Report
- There was no Treasurer's report as Phil was not present.
Membership Report
- John Jones was not present but Amy reported that we currently have 119
members. Membership can be sent to John Jones – 301 N Main St, Le Sueur

Old Business
- Holiday Party – Our Holiday Party will be held Saturday January 24,
2009. Two options were discussed. One was to go to the LeSueur Downtown
Motel and the 300 Club. The other was to go to Treasure Island near Red
Wing. We decided to get more information on the Treasure Island possibility.
Once a decision has been made, we will let you know.
- Membership – At the September meeting Doc Bowman said he would be
willing to get a list of current EH owners from publicly available
databases. Since maintaining the list of current owners is at best a
“challenge”, this offer was welcomed heartily.
2009 Rally - X Rally X July 8-11, 2009
- We discussed what should be used for the 10 Year colors. Ideas for
t-shirts and other items. We discussed having a Rally Picture of attendees.
Also a slogan for the Rally – The Spirit Lives On – The Dream Is Gone – was
discussed. Also we need to contact the various Motorcycle Magazines to
advertise the X Rally X.
New Business
Membership Gift
- The 2009 membership gift will be an LED flashlight imprinted with the EH
logo. Phil will get a sample. We also discussed imprinted pens. The final
decision of the imprint and the number of pens ordered will be made at a
future meeting.
Sweden Chapter Rally
Pioneer Chapter owned Super X Tools
- Buck Bailey has the Pioneer Chapter
owned tools and they are available for use by any of our members. Just contact
him at bailey@integra.net or

Next Meeting
- There will be no December meeting. The Holiday Party (Saturday January
24th) will be the next event. Information will be sent out once a decision
has been made regarding the venue.
